Mix and Match Crochet Pumpkins

Who doesn't love everything fall? It's the perfect time to sit down with a cup of coffee and start crocheting again. I love decorating our house for the harvest season, especially with DIY decor. Here's a fun, easy, and free crochet pumpkin pattern you can whip up in a few hours. Mix and match colors and sizes, there's a pattern for small, medium, large, and jumbo. Make a set of 3 or a set of 4.

I never met a pumpkin I didn't like

Materials:

G Hook

Medium worsted weight yarn (I used Yarn Bee Soft & Sleek, low-pill fiber)

Tapestry needle

Hemp Cord

Poly-Fil

Craft sticks (got these at Hobby Lobby in the Christmas section next to the cinnamon sticks) or you can use cinnamon sticks if you prefer.

Abbreviations:

Chain: Ch

Single Crochet: SC

Double Crochet: DC

Front Post Double Crochet: FPDC

Double Crochet 2 together: DC2TG

Note: Start each round in the join stitch.

Small Pumpkin

Magic Ring

Round 1: 11 DCs in magic ring, join, Ch 2

Round 2 : In first stitch DC and FPDC, continue around ending with a FPDC, join, Ch 2 (22 stitches)

Finishing the pumpkins

Stuff with Poly-fil, place stick in middle, using a running stitch sew around the SC row with the hemp cord. Pull the hemp cord tight, knot, and tie a bow.
