Pine Tree State Hat

Updated: Jan 6, 2021

My first design of the year is complete...working on my crochet goals one design at a time (creating and posting more patterns). I created this hat design last February for a birthday gift. Per usual I never wrote the pattern down and carried on with life, totally forgetting about this beautiful pattern. Since my goal this year is to create and blog more crochet patterns this hat popped in my mind. I decided to make another and write the pattern down as I crocheted. On the original hat I topped it off with a yarn pom pom and used Loops and Threads Impeccable yarn. For the newly made hat I added a faux fur pom and used Lion Brand Heartland yarn. My opinion; the yarn pom makes the hat, but "two each their own!" Either way the hat is super easy to crochet and works up in about a day depending on how fast of a crocheter you are. Hope you all enjoy and would love to see your finished product. Tag me on Facebook or Instagram. Happy Crocheting.

Materials:

J size crochet hook (6mm) For the original hat using the Loops and Threads yarn I used an H hook (5mm)

Tapestry needle

  • Grand Canyon

  • Kings Canyon

Abbreviations:

Yarn Over: YO

Single Crochet: SC

A bunch of you have been asking where I got my hat tags. I got them on Etsy, the name of the shop is called All This Wood. Here is the link.

Also here is the Amazon link to where I purchased the the rivet kit.
