The Crochet Kip Baby Blanket

Updated: Sep 23, 2020

I made this easy textured crochet blanket for a friend of mine. She is due to have her baby boy Kip any day. Once again I decided to use the lemon peel stitch my go to for texture. Plus the lemon peel stitch is simply easy; a SC followed by a DC. Lion Brand's Feels Like Butta Yarn was perfect for this blanket, it's known for its velvety softness. The colors used: white, pale gray, charcoal, and ice. Perfect colors for a baby boy. Here is the pattern, have fun and enjoy.

Materials:

H sized hook

Feels like Butta Yarn: white, pale gray, charcoal, and ice (I used a bonus bundle in each color, I needed a little extra white so used some from a smaller skein 218 yard to finish.)

Tapestry needle

Abbreviations:

Single Crochet (SC)

Double Crochet (DC)

Chain (Ch)
